Stimulating and relevant sessions built around key issues, trends and market opportunities.

Kid Insight track
You asked for it, and we’re delivering it! A day-long track of research sessions exploring kid culture in the US and Europe, with a special focus on how this demo consumes media and interacts with entertainment properties. And capping it all off is a LIVE focus group session that explores how two different generations of mothers feel about kids TV properties.

The KidScreen Consumer Products Forum
Presented in partnership with LIMA, this special one-day feature will focus on the unique trends, issues and opportunities having an impact on the licensing & merchandising biz. Topics that will be covered include US retail trends and sell-in protocol, how to forecast a property’s L&M potential, in-store merchandising and promo techniques that cut through, on-line brand-building strategies and tentpeg product category analysis. The Consumer Products Forum is included in your general registration-it’s a unique learning and networking opportunity that you’ll definitely want to experience!

Cash, Craft & Connect Workshops
Indie producers can’t afford to miss these sleeves-up sessions that address all the angles of getting a kids show off the ground. From financing, to creative development, to pitching, we take an intensive look at the whole process on the morning of February 13. Delegates can sign up for two sessions for an additional registration fee of $350. Featured topics include standard financing models, topping-up options, writing comedy for kids, character development and global pitch planning and execution.

Pitch It! is Wide Open
Our perennially popular event finale is back! Instead of zeroing in on a specific age group, this year we’re opening up the field to projects targeting kids up to age 15. We’ll consider series (no one-offs please) and any style is eligible. Here is a link to access the submission form.
The deadline for entry is Friday, January 25.
